This is our 12mm Round Carbide Chisel, available in 3 sizes.

The Standard chisel at the top of the picture has a 14 inch handle and a 6 inch 10mm Square bar.

The Short Handle chisel in the middle of the picture, has a 9 inch handle and a 6 inch 10mm Square bar.

The Pen Turning chisel at the bottom of the picture, has a 9 inch handle and a 4 inch 10mm Square bar.

Our Round Carbide chisel, has been designed and made to allow the bevel of the cutter to be used at all times. This not only allows you to achieve the finishes normally associated with traditional tools, but also reduces the likelihood of catches when used correctly. I have demonstrated this in full detail on my YouTube channel in easy to follow instructions.

In my opinion, the Round Carbide chisel is far superior for roughing down pieces and safer than the Square Carbide chisel. With the handle kept low and the bevel in contact, cuts made above cente, catches are eliminated and smooth clean cuts are easily achieved. Torn grain will be a thing of the past. Don't make the sandpaper sellers any richer (And save our beaches). Again, I can not stress enough in watching our YouTube channel.

Of course if you want to use these tools as Scrapers, just making simple plunge cuts, then these are more than capable of doing that as well.
