This is my GT Index System

This is my GT 24 Hole Index System. All made from bright steel. This system fits any lathe with an M33 x 3.5 and 1x8 Tpi. The system comes with the steel disc which simply fits to your spindle and is held in place by your chuck. For 1x8 Tpi, there is an aluminium bushing supplied which fits into the steel disc, to reduce the hole diameter, as pictured above. The supplied lever system that locks the index in place, is made from 10mm bright steel, all welded together and fitted with 2 rare earth magnets. This simply sits on and is magnetised to the lathe bed as shown in the picture. A simple pin is located in the hole in the indexing disc for your desired position.  This allows you to have 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 indexing positions, depending on what you are doing. The supplied lever system will work for lathes up to an 18 inch swing. If your lathe has a larger swing than 18 inches, please notify me when ordering, so a longer lever can be supplied. 

PLEASE NOTE - Care must be taken when placing the lever system onto the lathe bed so not to damage the magnets.

All parts are handmade and not CNC machined. Accuracy to within +/- 1mm.
